La Guayra

Think about Bob Marley, Pirates of the Caribbean and the neverending surf fun all in one true paradise to discover.
La Guayra is a small fishers town in the
Province of Colón (Atlantic shore). This huge property has a 100 hectares and 1.2 km beach front borders all of it . Inside the property there is a house and a horse house. In front of La Guayra you have Isla Grande ‘Big Island’. It is famous for its afrocaribbean culture, seafood and for lots of tourists to visit all year long. Also famous because the legend tells that the famous english pirate Sir Francis Drake was buried inside a lead coffin in this light blue waters. You can cross from La Guayra to Isla Grande in little boats (no more than 2 dollars for the service) in less than 5 minutes you’ll be there. La Guayra has not been highly developed as a tour spot yet, but Isla Grande already counts with various hotels including Banana’s beach resort, Sister Moon cabanas, Isla Grande Hotel among others. Isla is a common surf spot and gourmet delight. Total paradise!
